Five generations of doing this means we know the only way to deliver fun is to deliver it safely. Here is how we keep every guest, operator, and visitor protected — every event, every day.
Our commitment
A carnival is hundreds of small things working together — bulbs, bolts, brakes, briefings. Our job is to make sure every one of them is right before the first guest steps on. This is how we do that, every event, without exception.
/ How we run a safe event — six steps, no exceptions
Every ride is checked before opening, every day. A full cycle is run through with no riders, every operator station is signed off, and the visual checks happen again at every shift change. Anything off — even a small thing — gets fixed before the gate opens.
Every operator is certified on the specific rides they run. No shortcuts, no rotating staff onto rides they have not been trained for. Refresher training happens every season, and senior crew mentor newer crew on the floor.
Manufacturer-spec service intervals, major service between every event, and a logbook for every ride that tracks parts, hours, inspections, and repairs. If a component is approaching end-of-life, it gets replaced — we do not wait for it to fail.
Every operator station has a first-aid kit and a direct line to event organisers. Operators are trained in evacuation procedures specific to each ride. We have an on-call engineer for technical issues, and a clear chain of command from gate to ground.
Annual third-party engineering audits, on top of our own daily and event-by-event checks. SafeWork SA spot inspections are welcomed. Logbooks and certificates are open to event organisers, councils, and insurers on request.
Substantial public liability insurance, current and in force, with Certificates of Currency provided to every event we work. Combined with our zero-tolerance approach to risk, this is the safety net behind the safety procedures.
