Compliance is not the exciting part of the carnival, but it is the part that lets the exciting part happen safely. Here is the framework we operate under, the paperwork we keep current, and the standards we hold every ride and every operator to.

Australian Standards

  • Every ride registered and operated under AS 3533 — the national standard for amusement rides and devices.
  • Annual engineering inspections by certified third-party engineers.
  • A logbook for every device, kept current and available on request.

/ Insurance

Public Liability

  • Substantial public liability cover for every event we work.
  • Certificates of Currency provided to event organisers before bond-in.
  • No surprises — the paperwork is ready before we arrive.

/ WHS

Work Health & Safety

  • Compliant with SafeWork SA requirements and the WHS Act.
  • Documented risk assessment for each event site.
  • Pre-shift briefings and sign-in procedures for every operator on the ground.

/ Training

Operator Licencing

  • Operators trained and certified on the specific rides they run.
  • Working with Children Checks for any role involving direct interaction with kids.
  • Refresher training every season, plus on-the-job mentoring.

/ Permits

Council & Event Approvals

  • We help event organisers get the right council permits and approvals.
  • Site plans, ride specs and certificates supplied as needed.
  • Setup compliant with each council, agricultural society, or showground.

/ Audits

Independent Verification

  • Annual third-party engineering assessments.
  • Spot inspections by SafeWork SA welcomed and supported.
  • Records open to event organisers, councils, and insurers on request.
